Wah gwahn everyone! hope you all had an excellent Thanksgiving. For most of this past week my companion and I were sick, so we were stuck inside and there were no major events that happened during the week. We did get very accustomed to eating soup though... haha but everything is going good now. This past week, I have been thinking about how we are all at war right now against sin and the powers of darkness. We will be victorious if we follow Christ. There is so much that is amiss in the world today, but our Heavenly Father has given us the tools that we need to overcome all obstacles in our way. Among those tools are scripture study, family home evening, our families, a living prophet, prayer, and the Church just to name a few. When we fall and make mistakes, thanks to the atoning sacrifice our our Savior Jesus Christ, we may repent and become pure and worthy of one of the greatest gifts that our Heavenly Father has given us which is the Holy Ghost. I love my Savior and my God very much. I am grateful to be serving a mission right now where I have the privilege of helping others come unto Christ. It is one of the greatest privileges and blessings of my life. I am also very grateful for my family, and for the opportunity that I have had of being the son of goodly parents. It isn't easy to be worthy of being the son of Onika and Peter Nugent, and I am grateful for it. I love all of you back home.
